US – Whats Your Story

I wrote this poem concerning how myself and a lot of other young women feel while they look through their social media feed because I feel as though there is the images shown portray a very distorted view of what beauty looks like which can be damaging for the people looking at it. I believe a power that would be helpful navigating the internet would be the ability to see the reality of what someone looks like as opposed to the edited version.
