US – Whats Your Story

A tween girl posts a selfie on instagram and experiences negative harmful comments that affects her self esteem. Cyber bullying also known as online bullying is becoming increasingly common, especially around teenagers. Victims of cyber bulling may have lower self-esteem, increased suicidal ideation and a variety of emotional responses which can include being scared, frustrated, angry and depressed. The special power shared in this video is to make cyber bulling obsolete by instantly changing the messages that empower and make the tween feel happy. The video reminds people to be the change and stop cyber bulling. Both the Canadian and USA kids help line, including text numbers are provided for kids to reach out if they need supports and resources.
