2014 Winner
“Internet Heroes!” is a music video designed by the 5th graders of Antelope Ridge Elementary School in Colorado. For our entry, we discussed what positive things we can use the internet for, and what things we need to avoid. Then, students re-wrote the lyrics to parody the song, “The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song” by The Flaming Lips. With the help of Mr. Jones, the music teacher, Mr. Cuoco recorded the music. Then, students acted out the roles of internet heroes helping students to use the internet for good! We had a great time following the “Old-School Action Hero Movie” theme for this fun video project!
