2017 Winner
“DON’T Believe Everything You See Online!” is about the gullibility of people in today’s society, especially while using social media platforms. Although I chose to use comedy and hyperbole to communicate my ideas, this is a very important issue, especially in the case of fake facts and fake news.

“I decided to answer this year’s question in the way that I did because I prefer to use humour to convey ideas because it keeps viewers attention longer and makes the subject more interesting than by just using facts and figures. To find inspiration, I discussed different ideas with my mom about the different types of fake information you see online. As we discussed the different types of fake information online, I came up with the idea for my video.”
