If I could change one thing about the Internet, I would get rid of the “like” button.
Through making this video, I want to show how the “like button” can often be a negative thing. Stressing about the number of likes a photo receives can lead to “fake friends”. Overall, the average person is not as authentic on the Internet anymore because everything from lighting to filters to captions is perfectly designed with the intention of racking up likes.
People should feel driven to be real on the Internet and post their work/share their pictures without worrying about the number of likes or who the likes come from.
